

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 11 at Cypress Grove Fellowship, 745 Holden Avenue, Orlando. Bishop James Hinkle and Reverend Mark Barrick will be officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Orlando. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, following a family viewing at 5:00 pm.
Terry was born August 29, 1938 in Parsons, Kansas to Orville LaVerne Smith and Dorothy Evelyn Evans Smith. He was nurtured into adulthood by adoptive parents, Dewey and Gladys Butler. After serving in the United States Air Force, Terry married the love of his life, Lois Evelyn Barber, on June 26, 1959. Terry was employed as an auto glass technician with Bob's/Harmon's Auto Glass for 43 years and served as a faithful member, since 1958, and trustee for 40 years of the United Pentecostal Church/Cypress Grove Fellowship.
Terry is survived by two sisters, Peggy Smith Ryther of Bullhead City, AZ and Linda Butler Blizzard of Houston, TX; son, Jerry Lee Smith of Apopka, FL, daughter, Helen Renee Smith Fulmer (Matt) of Winter Park, FL, honorary daughter, Carrie Teston Geiger (Matt) of Gainesville, FL; five grandchildren, Chrystal Fulmer Kidd (Matt), Lauren-Ashley Smith Sims (Chase), Stuart Lee Smith, Matthew Edward Fulmer Jr, and Nathan Christopher Fulmer; one great grandchild, William Benjamin Kidd; and several nieces and nephews; previous daughter-in-law, Lisa Diane Smith; two brother-in-laws, Rev. James Barber and Lloyd Barber.
He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Terry Lee in 1979, and his wife Lois in 2014. He was anticipating the arrival of his second great grandchild, Scarlett Evelyn Sims.
