Tommie Avery, age 78, of Orlando, Florida passed away on December 29, 2011. She was born on August 25, 1933 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia to the late Otis and Aida Vaughn. Tommie embraced being a "Mom" and also had a knack for arranging flowers. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Avery of 58 years; sons, Michael (Becky) Avery and Jeff (Nina) Avery; daughter, Deborah Avery; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
