

Tommie Bollinger Krause, 84, of 80 N. Clarke Rd, Ocoee, died Thursday February 3, 2011 after a lengthy illness surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Maude Belle Bollinger, born October 7, 1926 in Stanley, Kentucky. She moved to Washington DC in 1945 where she met and married Edward Krause in 1946 to whom she was married to for 19 year, and who passed away in 1965. She was a Payroll Supervisor at Riggs National Bank in DC before retiring in 1978. Tommie then moved to Orlando, Florida where she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Orlando, and a volunteer at Winter Park Hospital for 21 years.
Survivors include her son Thomas E. Krause (Susan O.), a daughter Susan A. Krause, both of Orlando, grandchildren Russell T. Krause of Titusville, FL and Edward A Krause of Orlando; and a sister Mrs. Anne Spencer (James) of Owensboro, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as her husband’s family from Washington DC.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 8th at 2pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Gotha, Florida.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in memory of Tommie to be made to First Baptist Church of Orlando. The church brought her much joy and happiness.
