Tommy Martin

TOMMY MARTIN, 72, of Gotha, FL passed away on March 11, 2013. Tommy was born on March 14, 1940 to the late William Clant and Cleo (Aplin) Martin. He was a retired mechanic for Lockheed Martin for 34 years. Tommy was an avid Florida Gators fan, having season tickets for 30 years. He was known for “saying what he thought!” Tommy loved his grandkids and son just as much as he loved sitting in front of the television watching sports, which was A LOT! Mr. Martin spent his spare time restoring old cars and being the eyes and ears of Gotha. Tommy is preceded in death by his brother, Farrell Martin. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Gerry Martin; son, Scott (Alicia) Martin; brothers, Hughlan, Johnnie and Tony Martin; grandchildren, Tommy John and Taylor Martin. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm, Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Monday at Woodlawn followed by interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
