I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate in Valinda's name to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org.

Valinda was such a smart, beautiful, friendly, giving, loving person. A great listener. We had so many laughs at work and outside of work. Unforgettable trips to Fort Wilderness, Casey Key, Lamaze and ILCA conferences, Limo, birthday and holiday celebrations.

I remember all the fun times we had at Work. I know Valinda loved working with the expectant new moms and was very proud when she passed her IBCLC exam. It was such an accomplishment for her to become a Lactation consultant. She was always so giving, loved to share and participate in our parties. She loved sharing stories about her grandchildren. Your beautiful heart and smile will always be remembered.

Always a happy smile, always willing to help, always ready to get our tasks accomplished. Valinda was a joy to work with and a joy to know.
