VERA M. STOKES, 87, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011. Born in Andalusia, AL. She moved with her late husband, Claude Stokes to Orlando in 1942. Vera raised her children, Pamela Morrin (deceased) and Randall Stokes on Lake Hiawassee and in later years spent her time traveling. She leaves behind in addition to her son, brother, William Ward; sister, Doris Haslam; granddaughters, Tracey Alberts, Barbie Timpson and Tiffani King with her three great granddaughters, McKenzie, Tristen and Cassidy King and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734.
