Vernon O’Dell Scarbrough was born on September 12, 1932 in Ocoee, FL and died on June 1, 2020 in Melbourne, FL.
Vernon was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, having served 22 years. He was an Executive Chef, who loved to cook and was honorably discharged with 2 Bronze Stars among his decorations for his faithful service.
Vernon is survived by his daughter Linda Granados (Tommy) and his nephews Leon, Sam, and Paul Clements and his niece Becky Clements.
Vernon was preceded in death by his partner of 30 years, Gloria King.
To those who knew him, Vernon was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He loved to laugh and joke and could often be seen with a smile on his face. Vernon had an immense willpower that was unmatched by anyone until his death. He will be sorely missed.
