

Bill died on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from natural causes, born on February 25, 1928 in Baltimore Maryland, were he grew up. He first moved to Florida in the early 50's at the Cape on temporary assignment and took permanent residence in Orlando in 1963. After retiring he moved to The Vinllages in Lady Lake, Fl. for 6 years, then returned to the Orlando area.
He is survived by: his wife, Gertrude (Boots) of 62 years, his son Dean and grand daughters Amy and Jessica in Irvine Cal., his son Martin and grand daughter Kaley in Winter Park, Fl., and half sister Rhonda Herr in Sun City, Fl.
A Certified Professional Logistician, he retired from Lockheed Martin after 37 years. Bill was a chartered member of The Society of Logistics Engineering, where he served as a Director and as Vice President of Professional Development.
Bill earned a BGS from Rollins College in 1070 via 10 years of evening studies, after which he took up his hobby of racing radio controlled sailboats. An avided partipant, he served as a Director of the American Model Yacht Association and had competed in all levels of competition including National Championships. Bill served as a Race Director for 17 years in the Model Yacht Regattas in Orlando.
