

Bill was active in the greater Arlington community. He was a long-time member of the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce serving as a committee chair, board member and as an executive committee member. After selling his business, Bill worked on the staff of the Chamber as Vice President of Government Affairs. Earlier in his career, he served as chair of the Arlington Quality of Life Foundation and the Arlington Education Foundation. He spent six-years on the board of the Tarrant County Workforce Commission.
In his business career, Bill was President and CEO of TXF Products with offices in Arlington and Brownwood and owned a Minuteman Press printing franchise in Fort Worth. He was elected by his industry peers as Board Chair of the International Housewares Association, an organization of 2200 companies world-wide manufacturing and distributing products for the home. Earlier in his career, he worked for Genie Home Products in Alliance, Ohio and for Chamberlain Manufacturing in Chicago.
He was active in St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Arlington where he served as a catechist, lector, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and was instituted by the Bishop of Fort Worth into the ministry of Acolyte.
Bill was born on March 14, 1946, in Bluefield, WV to William Lynch, Sr. and Sadie Johnson Lynch. He graduated from Tazewell (VA) High School, attended Memphis State University and received an MBA from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Appolone Lynch and great grandchild, Serena Kassim. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon Kassim and Heather Coons, and son in law, Jeffery Coons, all of Orlando. He has seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his fiancée, Shari Vande Wiede, of Clermont, Florida.
While he was physically in Florida, his heart and home remained in Arlington. He followed the city, the Chamber, the development of the entertainment district and the Texas Rangers Baseball Club until he died.
