

Yvette Dora Acevedo, age 60, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was born in San Juan, PR on May 27, 1963. Yvette graduated from University of Puerto Rico where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science.
She married Miguel Acevedo in 1989. After a brief career in nursing, she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to a life of service for her family.
She is best remembered for her love of traveling the world, dedicating herself to the service of others, and most of all her laughter, that was bright and infectious. She blessed every life that she touched and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Yvette is survived by her husband, Miguel; her children, Yaset and Yomara; her grandchildren, Clark and another yet to be born; her siblings, Letty, Frances, Frankie and Felix; her mother, Dora and an enormous extended family that includes aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, siblings-in-law and cousins that number the stars.
Yvette loved roses and all types of flowers, However, if you wish to honor and celebrate Yvette's memory by alternative means, she would have loved to be remembered by donations made to a charity of your chhoice. A visitation for Yvette will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734. A funeral service will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 5125 S. Apopka Vinceland Road, Orlando, FL 32819. A committal service will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
