Regina, my cousin, was a lovely person and it was always a pleasure to meet her, whether at a family function or running into her at Meijer's. She had a very warm and welcoming nature. I was privileged to babysit for her first child, Bridget, when I was only 14. Regina and Dan were newlyweds and so happy with their life together and their baby. Regina linked us to family members we all loved, her brothers Martin and John, Uncle "Ooch", Aunt Agnes , Aunt Evelyn, and all the Daly brothers. She graced this world with her kind spirit an she will grace the heavens with her kind soul.

Bridget, our hearts are with you & your family at this difficult time. Regina was an amazingly kindhearted woman & friend. She loved traveling, new adventures & her family. I will always remember going to Italy with her & all the Christmas Eve’s spent at the Ignace home. She will always be “Robbie’s girlfriend” & to me a lunch & shopping partner. Knowing she has been reunited with Dan in heaven gives our hearts solace. Hugs & prayers.

To the Ignace family...I have very fond memories of Regina. My mother, Pearl, and I, used to work with her and Bob at Mott. My mother retired in 1986. I was there until 1994.

Regina worked closely with my mother and there were parties, events and gatherings including family at their home. Besides my mother working closely with Regina, Bob and I shared office space. I have never met anyone stronger, braver and smarter. What an absence his illness made.

My condolences to the family.

I am deeply saddened to lose my cousin Regina. She was a kind person who always had a smile on her face. I remember celebrating Regina and Dan’s wedding anniversary at Bridget’s Home. It was a beautiful day sharing memories with family. Regina and Dan always attended family events, whether it was a high school graduation or wedding. Regina often visited with our beloved cousin Pat who left this world a few years ago. Now they are reunited in Heaven. I regret that our busy lives got in the way of in-person visits over the years. My heart aches for her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

In the mid 80’s when I was a student in the Nursing program at Mott College, she seemed to keep tabs on me. I was like a single mom with Jim being on the road alot (not to mention being a full time college student). She seemed to always connect with me in some way, I would run into her so often. She always had a word of encouragement and a great hug for me! I so valued our conversations, even if they were brief. Aunt Regina always had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in that moment to her. I am sure she was so busy but you would never know that when she was talking with you.
What an awesome woman of God she was and such a sweet and tender spirit....Jim and I will be keeping you guys in our prayers.

Aunt Regina was a very special lady, with so much wisdom always hidden behind her smile.
She and Uncle Dan were a very important part of my childhood, always willing to talk and share wisdom. Aunt Regina will be greatly missed, however I know we will see her again in the heavenly realms. God speed Aunt Regina!

Reg and I worked for years together at MCC. We had such fun at work and off work. We shared our lives. We took vacations together and I attended most of her kids weddings.
We golf together, laughed together, and on occasion drank together. I will miss her dearly. I know she is with Danny up in heaven. RIP I will remember you forever. Carla Schulte
