

2010 at Brian’s House Hospice. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday,
February 22, at the Hill funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc,
MI. Rev. Dr. Jay Gantz officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from Noon to 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 11:00
to 1:00 P.M. Alice was born April 16, 1921 in Moshannon, PA to parents
Charles and Emily (Stokes) Lucas. She moved to Flint and married George
C. Jennings on January 12, 1946. Together they had three sons. Alice
became a nurse’s aide at Hurley Hospital and retired from there. She loved
animals and was a good environmentalist! Her life’s love was gardening and
planting flowers. Alice was a good mentor and mother to her sons.
Surviving are son Richard (Sally) Jennings of Grand Blanc; daughter-in-law
Leni Jennings; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three nieces
and a nephew. Preceded in death by sons Dennis and George II; parents and
three siblings James, Mildred and Margery. The family would like to thank
Dr. Danish and his staff for their efforts and a special thanks to Genesys
Oncology nurse Joyce for her compassion and professionalism and the staff
at Brian’s House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane
Society or Brian’s House Hospice.
