QUEEN, Alpha June – Age 71, Of Grand Blanc, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Queen was born February 5, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas the daughter of Alfred and Florence Wagner. Alpha attended Mt. Zion Church and enjoyed quilting and sewing. Mrs. Queen worked as a Real Estate secretary and as a secretary at West Middle School in Rochester. On August 4, 1966 Alpha Wagner married Ken Queen and he survives her. Also surviving are her children, Cathy (James) Franks, Alan (Victoria) Queen, Michael (Cindy) Queen, Audra (Jerry) Novak; grandchildren, Carrie, Logan, Sydnie, Trevor, James Michael, Nick, Henry and Emma; 1 great grandchild, Trinity; sister, Diana (Ronald) Wagner-Wheelis; brother, Howard (Julie Lewis) Wagner. Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Florence Wagner. A private family service will be held at a later date
