ALFARO, Ambrosio Jr. – age 83 of Flint, MI, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 1PM-8PM. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11AM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior. Pastor Dave Miller officiating. Ambrosio was born in Eagle Pass, TX on March 28, 1932 to the late Ambrosio and Noemi (Burgos) Alfaro Sr. Ambrosio served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Rosalie Lalonde on November 29, 1951 in Alma, MI. Ambrosio was a loving, caring, compassionate, courageous, and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Joel (Maryann) Alfaro, Cheryl (Louison) Manningham, Raymond (Bonnie) Alfaro, Sylvia Bednarski, Michael (Helen) Alfaro, Robert Alfaro, and Valerie (Robert) Brode; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and 4 brothers. Ambrosio was preceded in death by his wife Rosalie Alfaro; daughter, Lydia Alfaro; brothers, David Alfaro and Caesar Alfaro; and son-in-law, John Bednarski.
