Walden, Anastasia 'Stella' Formerly known as Ligas, Zvonek. Age 94, a lifelong resident of Flint and Burton passed away September 12, 2010. Visitation Wednesday between 5-8 PM at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 16 at 2 PM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Anastasia was born April 23, 1916 in Flint, the daughter of Martin and Anna Ligas. She worked at AC in Flint in her early years and owned Quality Garage's with her husband. Surviving are children, Sharon LaForest, Martin and Patricia Walden; Stepson, Don H. Walden; Grandchildren, Julie (Mark) Byerlay, Michael (Nikki) LaForest, Troy (Carie Sarver), Jason (Jenny) and Don (Evelina) Walden; Great grandchildren, Joey, Hanna, Kayli, Giovanna and Nicolette. Preceded in death by her husband, Don C. Walden; Sister, Lillian Lacina and Son-In-Law, Richard LaForest. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Carriage Town Mission.
