My dear Nancy, I am filled with grief for your loss and so sorry I did not know that your Andy had passed away until today, Monday, March 11. You and Andy shared many wonderful years, made precious memories , and gave each other comfort and joy. I will always be with you , Nancy, and hope that my friendship and love will help you with your grief and sadness. Andy is one of our 'Fee Hall Alumni' from Michigan State University. I considered Andy a good friend and a great man. I posted this on Facebook and have received replies from a number of the other Fee Alumni expressing their sympathies. My heartfelt prayers go out to you, Nancy, and wish the best for you and all of Andy's family members.
May God be with you,
Ben "Chip" Filer

A true friend and neighbor. After a round of golf, I would stop by and we would just talk of a myriad of topics. That was just one of many attributes Andy had.
We were both car guys and golfers so we had it covered. I will truly miss my dear friend, as a part of my own life will be missing. Thanks for all the good times friend.
