Anthony Christopher Schipper

SCHIPPER, ANTHONY C. age 68 died Saturday July 7, 2012 at his home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Fr. Steve Anderson officiating. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from Noon to 8:00 P.M., with a Masonic Service 7:00 P.M. Wednesday. Tony was born November 16, 1943 in Charleston, WV, Tony served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #294. He was a member of Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458 F&AM, Elf Khurafeh Shrine, The Shrine Hillbillies Clan #55 and had been a member of the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Highlanders, the Shrine Banjo Trainers and the Flint Scottish Pipe Band. Tony retired from Chevrolet Motors in 1996 after 30 years of service and was currently working for the Brown, Hill and Reigle Funeral Homes. Surviving are wife Bonnie; children Joe (Danielle) Schippono, John (Tracy) Schipper; grandchildren Samantha, Lucas, Antonio, Stefano; great-granddaughter Kali. sister Joann Haddad; brothers Charles (Jeannette) Dooley, Gerry (Jan) LeVasseur; nephews Mitchell Haddad, Tom Haddad and other nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals For Children.
