Barbara Ann Delbridge, age 71 of Utica, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019. She was born on October 15, 1948 in Detroit to parents Roy and Bette (O'Neil) Bannister. Barb's occupation in her early life was a technician manager at Centronics and to this day is still good friends with many of the folks she made while working so long ago. She enjoyed shopping, playing the lotto, geraniums, going up north, garage saling and being with her family. Barb loved to cook for family and friends and always made enough food to feed a small army. Barb never left the house without her pink lipstick and gold hoop earrings. Anywhere she went she left with new friends, be it Kroger, Kohls, the gas station! Barb is survived by: her husband Robert Mitchell; stepchildren: Marcie and Corey Mitchell; sister, Anita Little; nieces: Kimberly Dyke, Jill Beaver, Gretchen Sommer, and Brandie Lund; many great niece and nephews, her dog PeeWee, and so many wonderful friends and neighbors that are like family. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Bannister; mother, Betty Bannister; step mother, Marion Bannister; mother in law, Josephine Mitchell, and her sister, Cheryl Biondo. A memorial service will take place at 3:30pm on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 1pm until the time of service.

Marcie and family. I am so sorry to hear of Barb's passing and all the problems your family has had with her care. Sally Tenbusch Woolever, my sister, and her son Scott Bell were good friends of Barb and Bob and wanted me to let you know that they are so saddened by this news. They do not get on Facebook so I have been keeping them informed. Please know that Bob and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sandi

My favorite memory happened in the early 70's while Barb and I were at my parents house in Rochester. My parents neighbor was banging on the door screaming that his wife needed help. Barb shot out the door followed by my father while I called 911. The neighbor was having a medical emergency and Barb stayed with her until EMS arrived. My father talked for weeks after about Barb's responsive action and the kindness she showed to a stranger.

Enough can not be said about Barbara and the type of person she was with a great smile, positive words for others, and her kindness for all. An Angel that will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten by all. God Bless you and yours.

This is my beautiful friend Barbie. I have far too many wonderful memories of Bob and Barb to share here. Barbie has a huge impact on my life and heart! She was a great example of a person who loved everyone in her life hard! The door was always open to the house, she was thee best listener ever. We shared many days and nights around the kitchen table for hours solving the worlds problems. I will forever miss my dear sweet Barbie.
