Becky Lynn Baylis (Blair), beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, left us peacefully on June 10, 2025 after a three year cancer battle. Her strength and unwavering love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Becky was born on January 20, 1964 in Flint, Michigan. In the early 2000s, she was proud to have owned her own cleaning business. She taught her children the important stuff, like prioritizing responsibilities and safety, always doing your best work, and that a day at the beach is a day well spent. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — a sunny day in her flower garden, drinking iced tea under a shade tree, or searching for rocks in the Great Lakes.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Becky found her greatest happiness in the role she loved most: being "Mom" and "Grandma." She enjoyed fixing a quick lunch for her son, Charles, during his lunch break visits, and most Friday afternoons you could find her at her daughter Sarah’s helping around the house and playing baby dolls with her beloved granddaughter, Norah. Purple was her favorite color, a hue that will forever remind her children of her love and quiet strength.
She is survived by her children: Charles Keeley II, Sarah (Cory) Conner; grandchild, Norah Conner; niece, Joanie (Mike) Lawrence and family; nephew, Justin (Lena) Benardo and family. Becky was preceded in death by her father, Jack Blair; mother, Joan Molina; husband, John Baylis; sisters: Tina Welch, Tammy Benardo, Debra Pettigrew; niece, Amanda Pettigrew; nephew, Mikey Welch.
Becky wished to not have a funeral, but will be honored by her family following cremation. Contributions may be made to her children, Charles and Sarah.
