I had the very distinct privilege and honor to have worked with Betty for seven years at the Flint Visiting Nurse Assoc. Although I would have anticipated the two of us not having much in common with her patience and grace we became very close co-workers. I had not seen her in years but we faithfully kept in touch every Christmas. She was so many things to me but certainly mentor is very high on that list. I regret to hear she has passed; we feel it deeply in my family. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

I got to know Betty earlier this year while both her and my mother Nancy were at The Oaks of Woodfield. She was such a sweet lady and we enjoyed many visits. She thought the world of her nieces, Karen and Joanne. We were both Detroit Tigers fans and know she'll keep tabs on them from heaven!

I am saddened to learn of Betty's passing. She was such a sweet person, and so thoughtful of others. She hemmed many of my uniforms for several years, and I enjoyed many conversations with her. She always spoke well of her children, and how proud of them she was. May Christ's peace and blessings be upon her as she rests in His presence.
