Betty Jane Stanton

STANTON, Betty Jane – age 81 of Bay City of Michigan, MI passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at McLaren Bay Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 2PM-8PM at Oakwood Mausoleum 5950 Gratiot Rd. Saginaw, MI. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11AM with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Oakwood Mausoleum. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw. Betty was born in Bay City, MI on July 20, 1935 to the late Herman E. and Lela May (Ruppert) Lindner. She worked as a nursing aide and dietician at Hoyt Nursing Home. Betty was a truly generous woman that would give any form of help to others no matter what they needed. She had a Happy-Go-Lucky attitude. Being of a thrifty nature, she enjoyed rummage sales, estate sales, and shopping at the Salvation Army and Goodwill stores. Betty also enjoyed painting, knitting and loved to cook (especially cookies). Surviving are her sons, James (Terry Sine) Stanton, Charlie Stanton, and Rick (Sherry) Stanton; daughter, Debbie (Mike Cornelius) Rivera, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
