Beulah E Allen

ALLEN, Beulah E. – of Flint, age 93, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011 at Fenton Health Care. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Michigan, Burial follows at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Allen was born in Flint on June 20, 1918, the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Lefler) McLincha. She graduated from Flint Northern High School and was employed as a custodian for the Kearsley School System, retiring in 1980 after 14 years of service. She married Gearald M. Allen in Flint on November 22, 1944. Beulah enjoyed sewing, crafts, crocheting and gardening. Surviving are children, Verling (Shirley) Smith, Ron (Louise) Smith, Tary (Julie) Allen and Kim (Debbie) Allen; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, Gearald; granddaughter, Carrie (Smith) White; great-great-grandson, Adain; and brother, Ervin McLincha. Beulah was a sweet lady who always gave me a hug every Sunday.I'm so sorry I missed the funeral. I didn't see it until Thursday night. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
