

FOSTER, Billie Arthur – Age 91, of Flint went to be with his Lord Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at his home. Mr. Foster was born July 15, 1920 in Hamilton, Ontario the son of William and Marguerite Foster. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Billie loved deer hunting, golfing and home projects especially upholstery. He served his country during W.W.II with the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. Foster retired from Henry Vroom and Son where he was a Master Mechanic. In August of 1962 Billie married Helene Burns and she survives him. Also surviving are son, James (Mary) Foster of Florida, three grandchildren and sister, Lorna Eneix. Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, MI. Father Thomas Firestone will officiate. Entombment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. John Vianney Catholic Church or the Genesee County Humane Society.
