Bobby Jackson, a proud resident of Michigan, passed away surrounded by the family he loved so dearly on September 26, 2026. Born in Rochester on April 24, 1964, Bobby spent his life building a legacy of hard work, deep family devotion, and an unshakeable love for the great outdoors.
Bobby was a skilled glazier, known to many as a true "glass man." He dedicated his career to his craft, bringing precision, grit, and a strong work ethic to everything he built.
When he wasn’t working, Bobby was happiest in nature or cheering on his favorite teams. He was a passionate, lifelong Detroit Lions fan, never missing a game. An avid outdoorsman, Bobby loved spending his time out on the water on boats, waiting for a catch while fishing, hunting, or tearing up the trails four-wheeling. He found true peace and joy in the simple pleasures of the Michigan outdoors.
Above all, Bobby was a dedicated family man. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Jill Green. He was a proud and loving father to his son, Jason Green, and his daughter, Danielle Parker. Bobby’s brother, Barry Jackson, and sister-in-law, Natasha, shared a deep bond with him throughout his life.
Bobby’s greatest joy, however, was his role as a grandfather. His legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Ariel, Alivia, Alexis, Dakota, and Daelyn, who will always remember their grandfather’s adventurous spirit, sharp tuxedos, and constant love.
To honor Bobby’s love for the outdoors, his family will host a memorial bonfire celebration on Sunday, October 11, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM at his home in Goodrich, Michigan. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate a life well-lived in the casual, outdoor setting he loved most. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own lawn chairs and beverages (BYOB).
