Byers “Bud” Howell III, age 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Genesee Care Center. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time. Bud was born on March 26, 1936 in Lorain, Ohio the son of the late Byers and Gwendolyn Howell. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Bud married Patricia McGlone in 1959 at Holy Family Catholic Church. He retired from GM – Chevrolet Division after 30 years. Bud enjoyed camping, watching NASCAR, customizing RVs, and most recently, modifying his egg camper. He also loved Michigan beaches and spending winters in the Florida Keys with his late wife. Surviving are his sister, Mary Lynn (Craig) Panse; niece, Colleen Bell; nephew, Matthew Murphy; four great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, and his wife, Patricia Howell on March 23, 2015. Arrangements by Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc.
