Carol Joan (Nagle) Strong died at age 83 on August 9, 2026 in her home in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Carol was born to her father, Zigmund Nagle (changed from Naguszewski) and mother, Jean (Godlewski), on August 12, 1942. She is predeceased by her brothers Robert and Gary, and her sister Sherry. She is survived by her brother Ron and sister Linda. She is also survived by her sons Jeff and Ken Strong and grandsons Shane, Logan and Gabriel Strong. Memorial visitation will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street in Grand Blanc on Sunday, September 20, 2026 starting at 1pm, with a memorial service at 2pm, followed by additional visitation until 4pm.
She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry and worked as a chemist and then computer programmer for multiple years. Living in the Southeastern Michigan area for most of her life, Carol enjoyed outdoor activities like travelling, gardening, camping and observing nature. Her other hobbies included folk dancing, classical symphonic music, realty/house-hunting and crosswords. Carol will be missed by her friends and family.
