Uncle Carroll was a man of few words, but he showed love for others. I remember when my mom died. Uncle Carroll knocked on my door and handed me a picture that he took the time to have enlarged. It was an 8 x 10 picture of mom & me. "I thought you might like this," he said. I will miss his quiet but loving ways. The family will be in my prayers.

They say actions speak louder then words well that is definately true for Grandpa Carroll. He was definately not a talker but he had a way of showing exactly how he felt about everyone around him. He was a very kind hearted man. Even though he wasn't vocal about it you could feel the presence of love almost pouring out of him. This past Christmas I was trying to get my mom to see Les miserable in the theatre and he overheard it and even though it was understandable she wouldn't leave him I still pushed. Well he heard me and reaches in his pocket and waves 20 dollars at me. WE didn't end up going anywhere but that shows how attentive and generous he always was.

I have many fond memories of uncle , he never passed the Salon without stoping just to say hi. And of course he always had some Little Debs for me!
My heart goes out to you and your family at this time.

Our sincere sympathy to you and the family. We will always have fond memories of your Dad. We will always remember your recent visit May, 2012 to Maryland. We had such a nice time with your Dad. Please know that even though we are so far away our thoughts are with you. We share in your grief. Our hearts, love, and prayers are with you. Knowing that he is at peace and rest will comfort us all.
