Satkowiak, Cecilia Elaine, age 89, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Sugarbush Assisted Living. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth, Flint, MI. 48532, Father Anthony Strouse and Father Robert Copland officiating. Interment will be at New Cavalry Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 to 8 Friday at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc MI and also from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to Funeral Mass. Cecilia was born July 19, 1929 in Pinconning MI., to parents Leo and Anna (Barczynski) Brancheau. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and the Polish American Retirees Association. She loved to sew, make quilts and play Bingo. She was also an avid bowler and was a past secretary of Town and Country Bowling. Surviving are, husband Philip; children Bernard (Robin), Elaine (Roger) Hendricks, Joseph (Cheryl), Frank (Teresa), Paul (Terri), Peter (Tina); 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way, siblings; Louise Zaucha, Theresa Satkowiak, John (Terry) Brancheau, Alfred (Delores) Brancheau, Edward (Faye) Brancheau; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by; Ellen (John) Michalik, Leo (Ruby) Brancheau, Bert Zoucha, Levi Brancheau, Isadore Satkowiak, Anna Hertz, Irene Petroskey. The family would like to extend its thanks to Mike, Cricket, Lesa and the staff of Sugarbush Assisted Living.
