Charles was a graduate of Ferris State College (University) and a Phi Delta Chi Pharmacist fraternity member. He was a dedicated pharmacist for over 50 years. Charles volunteered with the Genesee County Health Clinic. In addition, he was a member of the Optiminist Club in West Branch, Alma and Genesee County. Charles was a lay reader at the West Branch Episcopal Church.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his wife of thirty-seven years Colleen, daughter Carol (Paul) Hubbell, stepdaughter Cynthia Smith, son Michael Cozad (Lori Baker), brother Douglas Cozad, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ethel Cozad and brother Gary Cozad.
Cremation will take place. A graveside inurnment service will occur for Charles at Bloomdale Cemetery in Trenton, Michigan on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
