

TITSWORTH, Charles (Tim) – Age 90, of Burton, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at his home. Mr. Titsworth was born, February 7, 1921 in Flint. He served his country with the U.S. Army during W.W.II in the Pacific Theater fighting in the Leyte and Okinawa battles. On May 16, 1942 Tim married Ruth Mosher. He grew up in Goodrich where he and Ruth lived and raised their family. Tim spent his career in building and a carpenter, builder and building inspector for the city of Flint. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed his Wednesday night golf league. Surviving are his wife Ruth, children, Edwin (Shari), Robert (Diane Stuber), Mary (Andrew) Sloan, Janet (Jeff) Smith, Donna (Gil) Crevier, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Mr. Titsworth was –preceded in death by his son Timmy. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hill Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. Tuesday at church.. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Christ United Methodist Church, 4428 Columbine Ave., Burton, MI. Pastor Naylo Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
