Cherie L. Zuber

Cherie Lynn Zuber passed away at her home, where she wanted to be, on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born on May 8, 1965, in Flint, Michigan. During her lifetime, Cherie was employed by General Motors Food Services and The Commission for the Blind.

Cherie had many hobbies and interests. She was a fanatical Elvis fan, loved Halloween and scary movies, was an avid reader, an advocate for animal rights, and loved children. Most of all, she loved her family and could always be counted on to be supportive in any situation. She will be so missed.

Surviving Cherie is her mother, Linda Lou Beckham; her father, Warren Richard Zuber; brothers: Richard Zuber, Ronald Zuber, and Robert Beckham; nephews: Joshua Zuber, Nicholas Zuber, Kenneth Beckham, and Darrin Beckham; and niece, Brianna Dobbs. She is also survived by 7 great nieces and nephews. Cherie was preceded in death by her sister, Kandy Rae Hutton.

The family is planning a private memorial service in her honor. Those who desire to send an expression of sympathy may wish to consider making a donation to the Genesee County Humane Society or any animal rescue facility of choice.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
