Christina Lu Catrell

Christina married the love of her life Corey Catrell on January 10, 1976 in Flint, Michigan. Christina and Corey loved riding their motorcycles and snowmobiling up north and all over Michigan. Christina worked for nearly 20 years as the head cook for Durand schools. She loved traveling up north, a warm campfire surrounded by family, bird watching and tubing down the Au Sable River. She also enjoyed baking. Above all, Christina treasured every moment spent with her family especially her grandchildren. Christina was a kind and loving woman she will be deeply missed.

Christina is survived by her sons: Michael (Nichole) Catrell and Jordan (Katy) Catrell; grandchildren: Trenton, Alaina, Rielynn and Colton; dear friend, Debbie Springs; and the Hixenbaugh Family Clan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corey Catrell; her parents; sisters: Vicky and Rebel. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Memorial Healthcare in Owosso, the staff at Chesaning Comfort Care, hospice nurse Sara and Chaplain Dan for all the love and compassion they have provided to Christina.

A visitation for Christina will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Brown Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Flint Memorial Park, Mt.
