Christopher Jude Wharff, age 40, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2017 in Royal Oak. Chris was born on May 19, 1977 in Saginaw, MI. He graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a B. S. in Management in 2015, and completed his first year of law school at Western Michigan. He was employed by Cherokee Insurance Company in Sterling Heights. Chris held many jobs while completing his degree, including being; a brick mason, a commercial door installer, a billing clerk, an appraiser, a greens keeper, and an owner of a landscaping business. His most important job was at home where he loved and cared for his two sons and ailing mother. It's not surprising that it took ten years for Chris to complete his degree. Dedicated to the happiness of others, he put people before himself, and was truly loved by all. If you needed anything fixed, repaired, or remodeled he was the very first to offer his assistance. We could always count on Chris to turn our day around in seconds with a well placed joke and smile.
Christoper is survived by his two sons Rocco, age 16, and Donald, age 8. He is also survived by his mother Diane of Grand Blanc, his father Donald and wife Linda of Mesa, AZ, sister Nicole and husband Joe Hiney and nephews Drake and Nikko of Grand Blanc, and sister Andrea Wharff of Pueblo, CO, Grandmother Ruth Hosanna of Lake Orion, Aunt Sandra Ledger and husband Doug of Lake Orion and Aunt Kenna Gibson and husband Gerald of Houston, TX. His extended family includes step-sister, Jennifer and nephew Kris and step-sister Sarah, all from AZ. He is survived by his friends and all who loved him and were important to him.
A Mass, celebrating Christophers's life, will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48439 on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.Arrangements under the direction of Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc, MI.
