

MILLER, Clarcy Valley Fay (Long), age 87, of Linden, passed away at Genesys Convalescent Center on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. , Monday, March 12, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI, Chaplain Adam Doyle officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 10 am until time of service. Entombment at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The youngest of 10 children, Fay was born in Senath, Missouri on February 15, 1925 to Benjamin and Dona Long. She met, was smitten by, and married Earl Wayne Miller, Sr., on December 13, 1941. Many locations and occupations later, Fay and Earl settled in Michigan, primarily Flint and Clio, where Fay put her special sewing skills to task, becoming a custom drapery maker, a career she excelled at long after retirement. In addition to a legacy of love and laughter, Fay leaves behind six children: Eva (Michael) Broz of Alvin, Texas, Vicki Coughlin of Linden, Constance (Robert) Hebekeuser of Grand Marais, Lynee’ (Richard) Morrish of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Earl (Yvonne) Miller, Jr. of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Tracey Miller of Linden, 15 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband, daughter Brenda Coe, and grandchildren Marty Coughlin and Rachel Coe. A huge ‘thank you’ is extended to the staff of Genesys Convalescent Center, particularly our “sisters” on ‘A’ Hall.
