Cora Lea Hill, 73, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away surrounded by family on October 23, 2025. She was an intelligent and capable woman who cared deeply for those who were sick or elderly and who brought dedication and excellence to everything she did.
Born in Highland Park, Michigan, Cora earned a nursing degree and later a Master of Business Administration. She also became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). She began her career as a nurse, providing care and comfort to patients, and later transitioned into financial planning, helping clients prepare for their futures with care and precision.
Cora had great taste and high standards. She valued quality and approached life with thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Outside of her professional life, she was a talented and creative person who loved to knit, sew, can, weave, cross stitch, and quilt. She found joy in working with her hands and took pride in the beautiful things she made.
She and her husband, Rev. Mark Hill, shared 48 years of marriage filled with faith, perseverance, and shared interests. Together, they enjoyed traveling, attending orchestras and plays, and exploring new experiences that reflected their curiosity and appreciation for the world.
Of all her accomplishments, Cora was most proud of her family. She dearly loved her four grandsons, who brought her tremendous joy.
Cora is survived by her daughters, Sarah Hill Rogerson and Mary Mueller (Matthew Mueller) and her grandsons, Elijah and Samuel Mueller, and Ethan and Jonah Rogerson.
A Celebration of Life will be held August 8th, 2026 from 11:30-1:30 at Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
