Dolores Jean Miller

MILLER, Dolores Jean, age 80, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, Pastor Darrell Foltz officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Dolores was born on March 22, 1931 in Detroit, daughter of Victor and Dorothy (Thomas) Ashland. She enjoyed playing the piano, and had taught piano for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Grand Blanc and was also an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Dolores is survived by her husband Frank Miller, children Jeffrey Miller, Timothy (Gail) Miller, Brian Miller, and Jill Eaton, grandchildren Steven, Jaclyn, Karen, Michael, Scott, Samantha, Amber and Cassandra. She is also survived by a brother David (Janice) Ashland, niece Kimberly (Max) Dysh and nephew Scott (Jennifer) Ashland.
