A resident of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Donna carried a steady devotion to the people around her, expressed most clearly in the simple, lasting ways she chose to spend her time. She found comfort and joy in the work of her hands—cooking, especially kifli, and sewing—creating warmth that others could feel and share.
Donna also enjoyed the companionship of a good game and a familiar table, spending time playing cards such as poker, euchre, and solitaire. Above all, she was beloved for the care she extended to others, both in daily life and through the work she truly enjoyed: taking care of elderly people, offering presence, patience, and dignity in the moments that matter most.
Donna leaves to cherish her memory her sons Gary and Chris, stepchildren Darcy, Jason and Jodi, several grandchildren and many loving family members.
Donna was preceded in death by her late husband Donald Roegner and parents George and Annie (Hess) Slaght.
