Douglas Scott Fisher was born on October 18, 1972, and passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 53. He will be remembered with deep respect and enduring love by all who had the privilege to know him.
Doug had a gift for bringing laughter into a room, and his warmth left people feeling welcomed and at ease. A man of steady faith, he was a devoted member of Millington Tabernacle Church, and he carried his beliefs with sincerity and purpose throughout his life. He was also a proud American, known for his strong patriotism and gratitude for his country.
Above all, Doug cherished his family. He was a wonderful Papa, and his grandchildren were truly his world. He was a devoted son who deeply loved his mother, and he held close the bonds of family in a way that was evident in both his words and his everyday care.
Doug found joy in simple, meaningful moments; time spent outdoors mowing, planting, and tending to the things he enjoyed. He liked to golf and appreciated being outside whenever he could. He especially loved traveling up north and visiting the Tennessee mountains, places that brought him peace and happiness.
He also expressed love through hospitality and food. Doug was a great cook who took special pride in making breakfast, and when he wasn’t cooking it himself, he enjoyed sharing a meal at Cracker Barrel.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Dannielle Fisher; his children, Erica (Kyle) Giddings, Isaac Fisher, Gabriel Ramirez, and Chelsea Fisher; and his grandchildren, Lunaia, Neil, Evelyn, and Claira. He is also survived by his mother, Rosa Fisher; his brother, Kevin Fisher; nephew Caleb Fisher and niece Alyssa Fisher. He also is survived by many friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Fisher, and his uncle, Larry Elledge.
