Edward graduated from the University of Michigan in 1972 with a business degree, a milestone that helped shape a steady and purposeful professional path. He went on to work for Xerox for over 25 years, serving with consistency and dedication across a long and respected career.
Outside of work, Edward found deep enjoyment in the traditions that brought people together. He loved going to Michigan Football games and tailgating with family and friends, valuing the camaraderie and shared spirit of those gatherings. He also loved to play golf and even got a hole in one, a memorable achievement that reflected both enthusiasm and persistence. In addition, he traveled to many places with wife Carol, embracing time away as an opportunity to make lasting memories together.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Carol, and his parents James and Virginia Brown.
A memorial visitation for Edward will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm.
