Ethel Feldman Young

Young, Ethel Feldman age 82, Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died Monday, February 21, 2011 at Avalon Hospice, Flint, MI. after a courageous battle with cancer. Forever in our hearts. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Chapel at Machpelah Cemetery, 4615 Branch Rd., Flint, MI. Leonard Meizlish officiating. Interment at Machpelah Cemetery. Ethel was born July 27, 1928 in Flint, MI. to parents Harry and Rose (Schechet) Feldman. She worked over 15 years in the collateral department of Citizens Bank until she retired in 1983. Surviving are husband and best friend Morrie; children Michael (Aileen) Leavitt, Nancy (Alan) Charlson, Linda (Paul) Landesman, Pam Holmes, Bob (Bea) Grossman, Sheri Young (David Greenwald); grandchildren Brian (Molly) Bernatsky, Julie (Jason) Frederick, Andrew Landesman, Brian and Jason Holmes, Erin and Ryan Grossman, Daniel Greenwald; great-grandchildren Justin, Allie and Hannah Frederick; special sister-in-law Betty Leavitt. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Temmie Grossman, grandson Seth Charlson and great-grandson Brent Frederick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Israel, American Cancer Society, Seth Charlson Romot Amoona Scholarship, St. Louis MO., or Wings Cancer Foundation in Memphis, TN.
