Florence M. "Flo" Owens

When she was younger, Flo loved to travel anywhere she could, especially with her close friends, Debbie, Delores, Janet, Nola and Darlene. She enjoyed playing bingo any chance she got and she never found a casino she didn’t like. She had a great sense of humor and a quick wit right up until the end.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Groleau, children Sandra (Larry) Archambeau, Greg Owens & Gary Owens. Grandchildren Katie (Daniel) Chomas, Chad Archambeau, Kristy (Mitchell) Johnson, Tracy (Brenda) Normand-Archambeau, Joseph Owens, Steven Owens, Arianna Owens & Abigail Owens, several nieces, nephews, cousins, multiple great grandchildren and amazing lifelong friends who she valued greatly and called them family.

A special thank you to Compassus Hospice for your wonderful staff as well as Hospice nurse and niece Carley DeBeck for making her last days comfortable.

Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie & Kermit DeBeck, sons Terry and Joe Owens, brother Kermit DeBeck and dear friend Darlene.

Any contributions made in Florence's name can be sent to Genesee County Humane Society or American Cancer Society.

A visitation for Florence will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 East Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan with a Rosary service at 6:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Friday, June 6, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church - 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Florence will be laid to rest at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
