Frank D. McCracken

Frank D. McCracken, 56, of Chester, PA died Sunday, September 27, 2015 with his wife by his side. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5 to 7 P.M. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 A.M. Friday October 9, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Flint. He was a member of St. Mary Parish in Flint. He worked as a construction contractor for 30 years, most of which was for D&W Windows and Doors. He later moved to Philadelphia where he worked as a sheet metal assembler at Boeing. Frank loved camping, tubing, being outdoors and riding his motorcycle. He would do anything for anyone anytime and everyone loved him. Frank was predeceased by his mother, Constance I. Kramer McCracken. He was the husband of Melody Sawicki; son of William J. McCracken and his wife Inge Meyer McCracken; brother of Caron McCracken, Susan Ruhala (Late Andrew), Deborah Simms (Jack), Mary Wright (Late James), William T. McCracken (Sandra) and Marjorie Duesterberg (David); stepbrother of Lori Storey (Thomas), Jim Petrowski (Lisa) and Nicole Petrowski; brother-in-law of Mark Sawicki, Michaelle Gordon and Pamela Langford (Late James); son-in-law of George and Delma Hege; also survived by many nieces , nephews and many friends.
