Schulte, Frederick O., 75, of Fenton, Michigan passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2013 in Clio. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, 10:00am at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S Genesee Road, Burton, Michigan. Pastor Daniel Wonderly will officiate. The Family will receive Visitors Friday, March 22, 2013 from 11:00am to 8:00pm at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Fred was born May 26, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to Hans and Johanna Schulte. He graduated from Fenton High School in 1955. He then attended General Motors Institute from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He worked at AC Spark Plug in Flint, Michigan until his retirement. Fred loved the outdoors, his family and his church where he was a lifetime member. He enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting, hiking and kayaking. He had a soft spot for dogs and cats. Every year he would make special plans with his brothers, Rick of San Diego, CA and Harry of Fenton, MI. He was a wonderful, giving and very gifted man who enjoyed going north to Lewiston, MI with his son David. He leaves to cherish his memory, special friend Dorothy Miller of Clio, MI, son David (Renee) Schulte, daughters Susan (Doug) Karsch and Lisa (Lawrence) Evans, 6 grandchildren along with brothers Harry (Betty) Schulte, Rick (Karol) Schulte, many nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
