Georgianna "Marie" Raby

RABY, Georgianna “Marie” – age 71 passed away on October 31, 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12 PM at Brown Funeral Home- 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Pastor Paul Barnes officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 4 PM – 8 PM; Friday, November 4, 2016 from 10 AM – 8 PM; and Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10 AM – 12PM. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Georgianna was born on August 7, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to the late Slyvester and Esther (Pratt) Porritt. Georgianna loved spending time with her family. Her favorite times were spent at family gatherings listening to the joyful laughter of her grandchildren. She loved to cook, many would travel to taste her delicious trademarked pastie creations. Georgianna will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by her children: Sheila Aho, Wendy Jo (Ron) James, Sue Lloyd, and Roberta (Jamie) Wickwire; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Carl Porritt and George (June) Porritt; sister: Ellen (Doug) Hedrick; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Slyvester and Esther Porritt; son: Charles Edward Lloyd II; and brother: Bob Porritt. Georgianna experienced the love of three wonderful men over her years, who all unfortunately, passed before her: Richard Lee Raby, Charles Edward Lloyd I, and Dennis Aho.
