Light, Gerald Croft - age 86, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 16, 2024. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9am-11am with a funeral service to follow at 11am at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S Saginaw St, Grand Blanc, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FISH of Grand Blanc.
He was born in Flint on February 9, 1938, the son of Spencer and Ruth (MacDonald) Light. He attended Longfellow and graduated from Flint Central in 1956, going on to work for GM Accounting and GMAC before retiring in 1992. Jerry loved golf, cars, Michigan football, fishing, building friendships, and his family. He is survived by: his wife of 56 years Sandra; 3 children, Jon (Athena) Light of AZ, Jana Light of Grand Blanc, and Elizabeth Lissner of Grand Blanc; 6 grandchildren, Nicole (Joel), Warren, Rachel, Alyse, Emma, and Gavin; and 4 great-grandchildren, Keelie, Kenzie, Paisley, and Eliza. He was predeceased by his beloved sisters Judy Loder (twin) and Mary Ann Luther.
