McBRIDE, Gerald W. “Pete” – Age 52, of Holly, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Pete was born April 25, 1960 in Flint the son of James and Alemeda (Messer) McBride. He worked for 20 years at General Motors and loved collecting. Surviving are his wife, Bobbie McBride; children, Richard McBride, Cathy (William) Hagenow; grandson, Lucas; mother, Alemeda McBride; sisters, Elizabeth Crane, Nellie (Mickie) Grandstaff, Linda Rosencrantz, Virginia McBride; many nieces and nephews. Pete was preceded in death by his father, James Woodrow McBride and brothers, Jimmie, Herman and Jerry. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
