Harmen Lee Petrella

11:00 A.M. Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E.

Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. Rev. Goodman Cox officiating. Interment at

Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and

Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Harmen was born January

16, 1925 in Enterprise, KY to parents Tony and Bessie (Lewis) Petrella. He

worked for Mississippi Structural Steel. Harmen served in the U.S. Navy as

a Gunners Mate during WW II. Surviving are wife Dessie; children Clint

(Kathy) Petrella, Larry Petrella; grandchildren Amy (Scott) Connolly and

children Jarad and Jacob, Brian Petrella and daughter Cassandra, Gwyn

(Brad) Abbott and children Jackson and Emma, Keith (Tonja) Petrella and

children Andrew and Rebecca, Nicole Petrella; brothers Kerry (Pat) Petrella,

Joe Petrella, Doug (Liz) Petrella; sisters Francis Lauer, Pat Demaio, Liz

(Gardner Wade) Petrella, Kay (Don) Hitco; several nieces and nephews;

special dogs Montana and Sierra. Preceded in death by son Dexter; brothers
