Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday,
January 14, 2011, at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand
Blanc, MI. Pastor Raymond Cocke officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial
Park. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Hal was born November 15, 1946 in Flint, MI. to parents George and
Eleanor (Harrison) Coleman. He retired from General Motors Plant # 68
after over 30 years of service. Hal served in the U.S. Army, in Vietnam. Hal
was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 175, and the
Shawn Baptist Church. He is survived by son Matthew Coleman; step-
children Michael Hite, Catherine Hite; friend and partner Robin Wagner;
sisters Connie (Paul) Alexander, Catherine (Paul) Peterson, Charlene Fox,
Cynthia Waldorf; 2 grandchildren; 2 step- grandchildren; several nieces and
nephews. Hal was preceded in death by his wife Diane Coleman, October 3,
2001.
