Mr. Henry "Hank" Jurasek

JURASEK, Henry J. “Hank”, age 88, of Flint, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6336 Roberta St. Burton. Fr. Carl Simon celebrant. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4:00PM- 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. A rosary will be 7:00PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Hank was born April 24, 1925 in Flint the son of the late Frank and Anna Jurasek Hank was employed by Buick Engineering, A.C. Spark Plug and Modern Engineering. He was a member or the Knights of Columbus Council #11532 and WFLA Lodge #247.

Surviving are his two sons, Joseph and wife, Suzanne of Ann Arbor; Henry and wife, Susan of Lincoln Park; grandsons, Francis and Peter Jurasek of Lincoln Park, Andrew Jurasek of Ann Arbor; granddaughter, Jacqueline of Ann Arbor; brother, Jerry Jurasek of Burton; nephew and nieces, Jerry Jurasek Jr., Kathryn Ann Jurasek, and Mary Lenzi; cousins, Steve (Bessie) Sutka, Ronnie (Maureen) Sutka, Jerry Sutka, all of Alberta, Canada, Sister Theresa Marie of Chicago, and Pauline Dvoracek of Indiana; and several cousins in Czech Republic.
