KITCHELL, IMOGENE IDA age 91, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Lodges of Durand. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Riverside Tabernacle, 429 NB Chavez Dr., Flint, MI 48503. Pastor Tom Mattiuzzo officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI and from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church before the service. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Imogene was born July 22, 1926 in Paragould, AR to parents William and Olllie (Evett) Young. She married William “Bill” Kitchell August 22, 1942, recently celebrating 75 years of marriage, before he passed on November 5, 2017.She retired from General Finance in 1982. Imogene was a long time member of Riverside Tabernacle and worked in the Store House Food Pantry. She loved to work in her yard, but most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are children Teresa Bradskey, Margo (Kenneth) Herbruck, Cindy (Steve) Gross; grandchildren Geoff, Lynne, Katherine, Andrew, Emily, Kellie, Hillary, Timothy; great-grandchildren Justin, Matthew, Darby, Sean, Salim, Georgina, Cami, Brayden, Issac, Owen; brother, Lloyd Young; several nieces and nephews including Peggy Kirby who lovingly helped take care of her.
